چکیده

A theoretical study of an electrode mechanism where the reaction (E) is preceded by a chemical that takes place solely at surface (Chet) presented under conditions square-wave voltammetry (SWV). Rigorous mathematical solutions in form integral equations derived means Laplace transforms are for concentration all species involved mechanism, yielding explicit recurrent formulas simulation voltammetric response. The theory approximately predicts starts beginning experiment, disregarding its occurrence short time period between inserting solution until starting experiment. It demonstrated SWV can differentiate common CE C homogeneous taking vicinity electrode, and current ChetE which relevant plethora electrocatalytic processes electrodes modified with catalytically active enzymes and/or noble-metal nanoparticles, as well fundamental importance such CO2, N2, O2, H+ reductions.

Protein-film voltammetry: a theoretical study of the temperature effect using square-wave voltammetry.

Square-wave voltammetry of surface redox reactions is considered as an adequate model for a protein-film voltammetric setup. Here we develop a theoretical approach to analyze the effects of temperature on square-wave voltammograms. The performed simulations address the surface redox reactions featuring slow, modest and fast electron transfer. The theoretical calculations show that the temperatu...

Multistep Surface Electrode Mechanism Coupled with Preceding Chemical Reaction-Theoretical Analysis in Square-Wave Voltammetry

In this theoretical work, we present for the first time voltammetric results of a surface multistep electron transfer mechanism that is associated with a preceding chemical reaction that is linked to the first electron transfer step. The mathematical model of this so-called “surface CEE mechanism” is solved under conditions of square-wave voltammetry. We present relevant set of results portrayi...

Theoretical study of a surface electrode reaction preceded by a homogeneous chemical reaction under conditions of square-wave voltammetry

A theoretical model of a surface electrode reaction coupled with a preceding chemical reaction (surface CE electrode mechanism) is theoretically studied under conditions of square-wave voltammetry. The position and the shape of the theoretical voltammograms are function of the redox kinetic parameter k 1⁄4 ks f where ks is the standard electron exchange rate constant and f is the frequency of t...

Determination of clopidogrel using square wave voltammetry

The determination of clopidogrel, an antiplatelet agent, was performed at a gold electrode in pH 3.7 acetate buffer using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and square wave voltammetry (SWV). Each voltammogram was characterized by the well defined peak at approximately 1.0 V. The current of anodic stripping peak exhibited a linear dependence on the clopidogrel concentration in the range from 317.89 to 935...

Surface Catalytic Mechanism in Square-Wave Voltammetry

A pseudo-first-order catalytic mechanism in which both reactant and product of the redox reaction are strongly immobilized on the electrode surface is theoretically analyzed under conditions of square-wave voltammetry (SWV). A mathematical procedure is developed for diffusionless conditions. The relationships between the properties of the voltammetric response and both the kinetic parameters of...
